New Zelda 2 coming to Wii in 2008? Zelda Phantom Hourglass on DS delayed to October 15th 2007

Game Informer magazine issue 165 states the next Zelda Wii has already been under development for about a year and while itâ€™s highly unlikely that Nintendo would release two Zelda games a year apart, they expect the second Zelda Wii will arrive sooner rather than later. End 2008?

As for the much anticipated cel-shaded The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass for the Nintendo DS (which continues from the GameCube’s Zelda: Wind Waker). At GDC 2006, it was revealed and Iwata hinted it would be out by the end of this year. However, at E3 2006 it became apparent this wouldn’t be the case, and The Hylia confirmed a delay to 2007 after speaking with Nintendo at San Diego Comic Con in July.

Game Informer is reporting that Zelda: Phantom Hourglass has not just been pushed back to “early 2007″ as previously reported, but all the way to October 15th, 2007. If so, that means the first DS Zelda adventure will be out next Holiday season. We’ve also heard rumors the game is getting a major reworking since E3 2006 – as nothing new has been shown for the title since that time.

I thought they shouldve made a Phantom Hourglass version for the Wii. The Wind Waker was amazing. Plus Itd be kinda cool to conduct the Windwaker with the Wii remote. I hope the next zelda can woo people. haha. Twilight Princess was good, but it didnt intreage me. I loved the way it looked though. Graphics were amazing!

The balen borde?! interesting. haha. Might be more creative…although TP was pretty creative with the twilight realm and such.

Omg! besides this month…I havent commented on this since November! thats sad! anyways. I was doing some thinking and I thought that wouldnt it be great if you took different places and put it together…like Hyrule, and others to make things even longer and more things to do. I wonder if they can base it on multiple tasks but not make it to crowded. haha.

hmm I was almost disappointed with zelda TP I want the new zelda coming out to be HUGE and harder to…TP was just to easy..plus ther shouldnt be anymore ganondorf crap ._. he was awesome while he lasted but we’ve officially killed him twice now D: plus I want a new story line or something… the whole do some temples get master sword do a few more kill ganon is getting kinda old…I hope the newest one will be something like majoras mask

i think they should make it towards where you can have diffrent weapons and change the story line a little bit gannon is getting old
and make it towards where you can explore more and go in other places we haven’t yet and make it sorrta like wind waker except where you can go to hyrule as a place and it would be the same as orcerina of time except where you could explore even more with a windwaker style but diffrent.
