New Super Smash Bros Brawl pictures, video shows 10 characters

Super Smash Bros Brawl Wii screenshot More new Super Smash Bros Brawl pictures can be found on the official SSBB page. Masahiro Sakurai, the director of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, updated the page and had this to say:

“So, the Wii has launched. Are you enjoying it? As I sit here writing this, it has not yet released where I am, but I am enjoying it nonetheless! …But not as a consumer. No, I am working with it as I continue with the development of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. All of us on staff are working very hard, but it will be a little while longer before you can play it!

This time, on the movie page, I have added the Super Smash Bros. Brawl movie we created for the Nintendo World 2006 Wii Hands-On events in Japan. Please take a look.” The trailer that unveils more moves & Fox can be seen below.

Good to see the game being reaffirmed for 2007. With it being a year away, you have to wonder how many more videos unveiling an extra character, they will show Seriously though, Super Smash Bros. Melee on GameCube had a character roster of 25 and so far only 10 Brawl characters have been revealed. We’ve got a long way to go.

You people and your fantasies.
It’s been confirmed that all the Super Smash Bros. characters will be transfered over. However, some Melee characters will be removed, it seems.

Not sure why you guys think Jiggly should be removed. And she’s not weak… she’s got that good ‘ol B + move that can take out projectiles or help her survive, her Up + B might not be the best but if you can catch the enemy with that move, chain it with a Down + B and they’re good for. Jigglypuff also made beating the final event match easy with her Down + B move. I play Jiggly, soooo…

I think the most popular wants for new characters are:
-Sonic (duh? I HEARD it might happen; go to this SSBB link)
-a female swordsman, PREFERABLY Lyn from the Fire Emblem series
-A wierd want, but Tom Nook to be the trophy seller somehow
-it’s rumored to be that Rygar, Crash Bandicoot, and ROM the Spaceknight will be in the game…
-more third-party people, obviously; characters outside Nintendo
-Banjo Kazooie… right?
-another Starfox character, preferably Krystal or Wolf
-Megaman
-a new Captain Falcon title character… very unlikely
-King Dedede, or another Kirby character

When I think/find out about more…

Let’s not forget about Bomberman, Pommy, and Diddy Kong; a Peach “clone” like Daisy would be better rather than having a separate costume for Peach dressed like Daisy (and having a skin recolor). Also, Boo the Ghost and Baby Bowser might be good choices to add, too.

keep Pichu!!! add Lucario and put in more Pokeball Pokemon. add Spyro, Guilmon, Veemon, Danny Phantom, Sonic, Shadow, Knuckles, no Tails, and add some other 3rd party characters ;p

y would they have danny phantom? they only choose japanese characters. and y is this coming out for wii? this game requires a gamecube controller anyway so whats the point of making it for wii only?

susy was right. falco is my best character too and i hope hes in it. he probably is but with different moves to try to avoid clones

they r puting it on the wii because that is the new system and maybe they might put it on gamecube because the new link game is on the wii and gamecude so we have to wait till it comes out to see what happens
