Dead or Alive 5 announced at the series 10-year anniversary

Tomonobu Itagaki of team Ninja officially announced Dead or Alive 5 today. The developer at Team Ninja (of Tecmo) said this at a press meeting in Tokyo (Japan) that celebrated the 10th birthday of the series.

Mr. Itagaki already has the first play concepts in mind, one of which is that the fifth game in the fighting series will probably no longer feature Tag Team Battles. While no platform was mentioned, the Xbox 360 will surely see its (exclusive?) release, because Mr. Itagaki has in the past often expressed his fondness of Microsoft’s console. What…..the f(ck….ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT.Microsoft never and prob will never trade tecmo to sony,WTF.And where does FF come in to this.Games are not like sports it’s truley impossible for a game company to trade because lost of something and that does not mean doa is going to the ps just they are making a game for a diff console.And I check your site out it was nothing talking about what you’re talking about.Sony does not have the rights to doa neither does microsoft or tecmo team ninja have the right for doa.And NGS is and for the last time is a remake of NG and NGB.And the only reason why they did that is to test the PS3 so they can put more tecmo games for the near future for sony.The only doa game is going to the ps is prob be doa4 or doa4 hardcore if they make one.Doa5 is going to hit x360 first before going to another console.That NGS s’!t is getting to ps fanboys head that was just one damn game and that was a test.

YAY DOA on ps3, I was waiting for that moment. And for all the people who think 360 is superior in hardware… You need a good slap back to reality. PS3 hardware >> 360. This is a known fact. 360’s gpu might be a little better BUT the ps3’s MAJOR computing power advantage more than makes up for it. Ports are starting to look the same on both systems as devs start to know how to program ps3. Give it a lil more time n 360 will b history. Not to mention exclusives already look better O_O. And it’s not for nothing that rockstar said they were gona do a game ONLY the ps3 can do.

the sale price for ps3 is the only problam ninja teams kind of realize that by now that ps3 sale prices are prettty pathetic compare to the 360

Just reading comments ahhhhh yeah xbox 360 way better then ps3
xbox live way better then ps3 live unless your a console only fan
oh and i was reading rockstar going for ps3 hahahahahahaha grand theft auto rockstars biggest title is coming out for xbox 360 i have it prepaid already
and by the way xbox has gained several game companys in favor hense why a good part of good games are on the 360 they only title they dont have is final fantasy and tekken and so on
and the blue ray nobody gives a s*** about the blue ray its a game console not a dvd player
and have you ever held a cheaper feeling controler then the ps3s controler dont think so

i don’t think he would separate the doa 5 from microsoft!. if a doa does come out to ps3 it most likey not be like doau doa3, & 4 + doax 1& 2 i do think it would be diffrent and have doa 5 on xbox 360

I think any kind of Game should come in any kind of Platform so any people get satisfied about their own Platforms!
Mostly I prefer PlayStation Systems because of their B.I.G. BIG variety of Games and the MOST WANTED Controller Handling ever made in Videogames!
I still play sometimes the oldest of all DOA on the PSX System which initialy got out exclusive to PlayStation only!
I was really dissapointed that DOA3, DOA4, DOA Ultimate didn’t came out for any PS System!
I’m a BIG FAN of PlayStation and without doubt I’ll never ever change my mind!
PlayStation IS THE RULER OF ALL PLATFORMS (excluding the PC of course)
Let’s just hope that TECMO will once again continue the GREAT work on PS3 and I’m sure it WILL rise above anything else!
DOA is the FASTEST, KICK-ASS, EXPLOSIVE ACTION Beat ‘em’ Up ever made, even better than TEKKEN I guess due to it’s impressive Gameplay and Handling!
BRACE YOURSELF FIGHTERS!
