Dead or Alive 5 announced at the series 10-year anniversary

Tomonobu Itagaki of team Ninja officially announced Dead or Alive 5 today. The developer at Team Ninja (of Tecmo) said this at a press meeting in Tokyo (Japan) that celebrated the 10th birthday of the series.

Mr. Itagaki already has the first play concepts in mind, one of which is that the fifth game in the fighting series will probably no longer feature Tag Team Battles. While no platform was mentioned, the Xbox 360 will surely see its (exclusive?) release, because Mr. Itagaki has in the past often expressed his fondness of Microsoft’s console. doa 5 should come out to the ps3 give them a chance i bet who ever foa they will make as much money as they did when it came to the 360 so they will earn a lot of monet and i know there are some doa fans that loves the ps3 so if you put doa on the ps3 you will expect a hell of a lot of maoney and mabe more if you guys try to make it better than the 360 so give sony a chance i know they are mean they still own the right to the game so it wont hurt if doa comes out on the ps3 i am going to buy two of them so if one breaks i will have a nother it would be really cool to have it on the ps3!!!!!!!!!!!!!! pleas please bring it to the ps3

I have completely destroyed all of the enemies in Doa2. I master the game Doa3 and kicked EVERY computers ass. I even KICK MAJOR F*CKING ASS on Doa4 on Hard mode. I spend more hours playing dead or alive than i do with any other game, because i love it so much. So whatever direction Itagaki follows (hopefully the Xbox 360) I will follow along with him and Dead or Alive. By the way I kick more dead or alive ass than all of you and I am only 14.

Okay on a more harsher note, Itagaki needs to keep things solid with the Xbox 360. I mean seriously the Game became greatness on the xbox, not the piece of crap called the play station. Changig the equation would just be plain stupid. besides in my opinion the xbox 360 is still better than the ps3. Can you imagine the horror of playing the greatest fighting game in the world on that damned ps3. Trust me it is not fun. Stick with the xbox 360 Itagaki.

those who want to know more check out wikipedia, it is anounced that dead or alive 5 will be released on xbox 360 as well as ninja gaiden 2 and code chronos. All will be on xbox 360. those who wants games like dead or alive and shenmue on ps3 better rethink, you pplz have final fantasy, ain’t it enough?

Fair? Doa on ps3 to make it fair? wtf r u pplz talking bout? sony has all de cool jap games! They’ve got final fantasy, metal solid gear etc, you’ve got tekken, virtual fighter which evens out Doa, if doa goes to ps3, the word fainess doesn’t exist in the game world. it is not by aholes like u to decide which consoles it should be out on, it’s for itagaki to decide not some crazed fans like us.

ok ok team ninja started on mostly all consoles but after a while DoA2 and DoA2: Hardcore came out on PS2 i got DoA2 with my PS2 and i got 54% of the game compleated i stoped playing this game but for the past few months iv been playing it again and have got up to 71% game compleation but then i looked into getting the next one and was shoked to find it had been released only on Xbox so i went to Block Buster and bought for Â£8 DoA3 on Xbox then got my mate to let me borrow his Xbox and played it. Ok the GFX are better but the wired camera view on the boss is feking anoying i thing that Team ninja should live a little and release DoA on both PS3 and Xbox 360 Elite.

If itagaki makes doa for the ps3 he will get a hell of a lot of money a lot of people are saving up to buy a ps3 like me if itagaki makes doa for the ps3 i will be happy as hell all of my family loves doa if it comes to the ps3 i will pick my dam cell up and tell the holl wide world that dsoa is for the ps3. I think 360 has had enouph with doa DOA SHOULD BE ON PS3 BRING DOA BACK .

No, I think Doa has really found the best home it could ask for. While Mircosoft builds systems that are made for gaming at the highest level while sony… doesn’t. I mean come on! First , compare the xbox and the ps2. Which had the better sound card? xbox. Which has the better graphics card? xbox. Hell, even the Game Cube had a better graphics card! Bet ya didn’t know that! Look the point is that sony doesn’t take near enough time to make a system that’s actually up to snuff with microsoft. However, I do agree that Final Fantasy is one of the greatest RPGs, or games for that matter, of all time. And that started with Nintendo! Just because a game starts with a system doesn’t mean it has to end with it. Ninji Gaiden didn’t start with microsoft, it started with Nintendo as well. The point is that doa is on the right system. Do I think it should be shared? Quite honestly, no I don’t. I agree with Mr. Itagki; it should come out on the most powerful system, otherwise it wouldn’t do the game justice. The ps3, although much better than the ps2, still does not have the capabilities to compete with xbox360 when it comes to power. But ps3 owners, fear not! I’m sure that sony will come out with many more games that will make up for the loss of doa. Sony is good at making games, just not as good at making systems. Anyway thats all for me. Can’t wait for doa 5 to come out. It’s gonna be a blast. Halo 3 this fall! Boo ya! I’m out.
