Dead or Alive 5 announced at the series 10-year anniversary

Tomonobu Itagaki of team Ninja officially announced Dead or Alive 5 today. The developer at Team Ninja (of Tecmo) said this at a press meeting in Tokyo (Japan) that celebrated the 10th birthday of the series.

Mr. Itagaki already has the first play concepts in mind, one of which is that the fifth game in the fighting series will probably no longer feature Tag Team Battles. While no platform was mentioned, the Xbox 360 will surely see its (exclusive?) release, because Mr. Itagaki has in the past often expressed his fondness of Microsoft’s console. No release date was mentioned. Via Gamefront

Hahaha, it’s coming to PS3 which is exactly why he didn’t announce the platform. Itagaki always develops for the most powerful hardware available. Suck it, Xbox.

If Itagaki always devolops for the most powerful console which you are claiming is the PS3 how come Dead or Alive 4 was not devoloped for PS3 at the same time it was made for the xbox ?, we all know the devolopers have had the PS3 availible for as long as the 360 albeit minus the Failing format Blue Ray drive…

LOL ps3 most powerful? hardly, games still look better on 360 so far… but good try

Lets just hope they fix the hair issue that DOA Extreme Volleyball 2 still hasn’t. Gonna miss tag team though.. hopefully they get something else going to replace it. And hopefully they get another good boss fight like 4. 3′s boss was horrible.
