Final Wii 58 launch games list for USA includes 30 Nintendo and Sega classics

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight PrincessNintendo’s Wii is set to arrive this Sunday on November 19th. The company has said there will be enough units available at launch in the USA, but shortages are already implied at launch. The total units are expected to be below 2 million units in 2006, with 4 million Wii’s shipping worldwide this year (400,000 at the Japanese launch on December 2). Here are the Wii game lists.

* Metroid Prime 3: Corruption was delayed to sometime in 2007.

Classic games are a big attraction for the Wii. When your Wii gets connected to the internet, from day one, you can download 30 so-called Virtual Console games from Nintendo’s online store to the Wii’s internal memory.

PS: Considering the Xbox 360 launched with 18 titles and the PS3 will launch with 13 titles tomorrow, the Wii actually has the strongest retail support with 28 titles.
