[...] Kaz Hirai’s son begging for a PS3 Posted in PS3, General by Nino on November 7th, 2006 at 11:59 Being the chief executive of Sony Computer Entertainment America has certain advantages. You get to make a fool out of yourself at E3, you’ll probably get to play a lot of stuff way before it’s released and you’ll probably get your own products for free. Wait, forget about that last one because Kaz Hirai doesn’t have a PS3 yet. According to an interview he did with VideoGameBlogger, his son is begging him to bring home Sony’s new console but so far his 12 year old kid hasn’t touched the thing. “Unfortunately, there are going to be some shortages,” Hirai said in an interview. “I ask for everybody’s patience. We are pedal to the metal in terms of trying to get as many units as possible into both the Japanese and American market.” [...]
