Sims 3, Sims Wii, Sims II PS3, SimCity, Black, Lord of the Rings, Road Rash, Simpsons coming from EA

As part of its earnings announcement today, Electronic Arts revealed the release windows of their high-profile games. We’ll list them in chronological order. We hope you like Sims.

* Crysis, Crytek’s hotly anticipated PC shooter, and Army of Two, the co-op actioner for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, will both be delayed until after March 31, 2007 and before April, 2008.

* A new Simpsons game that will be released around the same time as the upcoming movie version of the TV series on 25 July 2007.

* The Sims II holiday edition for Sony’s PS3 will arrive either in the 2006 or 2007 holiday season, likely the latter.

* There is a The Sims Wii title that is being specifically developed for the Nintendo Wii platform, and will be released after March 31, 2007 and before April, 2008.

* There will be another Lord of the Rings game. There’s a new Maxis SimCity game in the pipeline and the next-generation FPS version of Criterion’s Black series. A revival of EA’s Road Rash series of motorcycle racing games is also happening. All set for release after March 31, 2007 and before April, 2008.

* Yes, there’s a The Sims 3 PC game in development that will be released after March 31, 2008 and before April, 2009.

oh my bloomin god i cant wait till the sims 3!!! i loved the sims 2 but i hope the graphics are waaaaaay better hunnies!

I am, unimpressed by what I have seen of the Sims 3, on Youtube, and Google images. I expected it to be on the same sandbox level as GTA 4, and to have PlayStation 3 grapics, instead i was left with a more interactive purer 3D sims 3 universe but not to the exstent Sims 2 set the bar against the Sims 1, today it seems games cannot push the PC’s 128 bit grapics capabilities. P.S theres a website on the Sims 3 with more info on the sims 3 if you did not know, and it has been annouced and will be releaced in November 2008 on the PC and March 2009 for the PS3 and Xbox 360, and the succesor to SimCity societies SimCity creator will be releaced before march 2011 SimAnimals, MySims Kingdom, and MySims Party will be launched in 2009 aswell, im surprised this blog is so small on 16.3.08 (today) aswell. Hey just to warn everybody, the Sims 3.com as of today (20.3.08) it is really slow and my server won’t get through, it could be cause I use Windows Vista or something like that but, it prob won’t load could be cause it was launched yesterday someone help my anyway, see ya.

Hey I know a good date for the Launch of The Sims 3, 28th of Febuary in the US and March 3rd in PAL. Just giving my opinion.

It would be really cool you could have an airport and travel to different countries, or at least allow you to drive your car manually and go to others neighborhoods you created and be able to have an accident, then have to go to court and be in jail for a couple of days if guilty.

Hi, I can’t wait for the sims 3 but i want to buy some more sims 2 expansions as well. I dont know wat to do cos all the websites say different stuff about when its coming out…
