After finishing Resistance: Fall of Man for the PS3 launch, developer Insomniac is taking a break. But they mentioned their next title in their newsletter.

“Those of you who are waiting for some Ratchet & Clank news, here’s a quick update. We are in full production on our Ratchet & Clank PlayStation 3 game. That’s all we can share at this time, but you’ll be hearing and seeing more from us in the not-so-distant future.”

Ratchet & Clank have had four games on the PS2: one racing game called Deadlocked, and three adventures, their first game, Going Commando, and Up Your Arsenal. At the moment they are also working on a PSP game named Size Matters. So the big question right now is what kind of witty innuendo they’ll use to describe their next game, any guesses? My money’s on Only With Protection!
