Pictures from today’s Microsoft Xbox 360 press conference in Japan surprisingly featured an 59.5GB Xbox 360 Hard Drive with a capacity of 60GB! 20GB really isn’t enough, so despite that this might be a developers unit, Microsoft should really come out with this if they want to offer more Xbox 360 movies, demos and video sharing through the Vision Camera and recording in games like Halo 3. The conference was really meant to show the 80 new features in the “Fall 2006 System Updateâ€. Via Watch Impress.
A rumor is that the Xbox 360 Backwards Compatibility list might soon include new Xbox games like Destroy All Humans 2 and Justice League Heroes.

The HD 20GB is normally 13GB isn’t it? Because they need the 7gb space. So is it possible that it is bigger then 60Gb? If they had any files on the HD already? Perhaps 70gb or more?

i believe this could be a upgrade of memory to come but i think that this must include the HD DVD drive hook up to the 360 so the HD DVD probally has 40 GB which would then total up to a possible 60.

I am having a problem with my hard drive. I connected another harddrive to my computer and I have done some work on that harddrive and removed it and after that. My original hard drive got messed up. I am using Windows XP SP2 and now my harddrive reboots giving a blue screen right after first windows logo screen. If I don’t turn off it reboots continuously. I had to install XP again and i did but installing it on the same directory on C: So now I have 2 Windows directory. I cannot reach the information and files that are from the first windows installation. My documents are not accessible. I don’t know what to do. I tried every single thing but I failed. I tried to do restore but my computer did not allow me to boot to MS-DOS. Eventhough I did not set an administrator password, it kept asking me that when I try to reach recovery console before I installed the XP again. I don’t know what to do right now. Please help me on this issue if there is any other way to save my information from the hard drive.
THANKS IN ADVANCE.

There is no such thing as an Xbox 360 40GB HDD. There are only 20GB HDDs and 120GB HDDs.
