Metal Gear Solid 4 on Xbox 360?

The cover (click to enlarge) of December’s issue of EGM clearly says “Metal Gear Solid 4 on Xbox 360?”. Xboxic muses this could this be the final blow to the major exclusives PS3 has over the Xbox 360.

Che Chou, ex-1UP staffer and developer at Microsoft’s Forza 2 team, has this to say about it:

“It’s simply a rumor that Konami higher-ups are pressuring Kojima Productions to consider making MGS4 a multiplatform game because production costs on the game are unsurprisingly high and only getting higher. With PS3 install base numbers not looking all that rosy due to console cost and manufacturing problems, Konami is scared they can’t recoup their investment on only 1 platform alone.

It’s also a nice way to maybe blackmail Sony into giving Konami an incentive [$] to keeping the game a PS3 exclusive, in my opinion. Whatever the case, I highly doubt it’s going to happen so quit building yourself a disappointing kiloton bomb.” It’ll be an interesting 2007 if it goes multiplatform!

i have bought mgs1 and 2,I my self used to had a ps2 and an xbox and for some reason had mgs2 on both of it .

now i have a xbox and a xbox 360

so im not much of a fan boy

but i would love it !!! if mgs4 was to come out on xbox 360

mgs3 did not make any xbox consoles and i am very dissapoited

if it dosnt i will blame sony for it

I too STILL own a PS2 and stoped playing MGS3 substance online since they stopped it after playing on it for a long time. BTW my PSN name for MGS 3 online is or should I say was Xemnas don’t know if anyone knows but whatever…. ps MGO was glitchy as HELL but I still enjoyed it I wasnt really good but i guess i was ok. i was in a clan on GB but it such a long time I seen my clan members…Oh well i guess i can be on a clan in Halo 3 cuz clans are fun as HELL, well for me anyways, don’t know about anyone else.

Man MGO was fun no matter how glichy it was to bad it shut down. well moving on we can all say what we want and say what we want to here but its STILL exclusive and noone listining to you wine about so if it doesn’t come out in 360 and you really want to play it just buy a 20g ps3.

hey does anyone know if the new MGO coming out is gonna good if not way better than the origanil MGO? I plan on getting it. oh yea and is it supposed to come with MGS4 or sold seperately. thnx 4 comments.

well reaper the original MGO for MGS3 was more of prototype to me an d the new MGO coming out for the ps3 is gonna b very similar but much better. oh and btw my name on MGO was Raigunex11 just ta let ya kno. R.I.P. MGO..4 now…
