PS3 and Wii show new website movie updates
As you can tell from the Sony’s losses and Nintendo’s profits, both companies have their own approach in the gaming industry. One invests, one wants a direct payback. For example take the new PlayStation 3 Playb3yond website. While I don’t trust the voiceover Bishop from the Alien movies, I have to say those are some slick Smarter & Capacity movies (click on “more” below to watch them here). But as I was saying, they clearly show the gorgeous graphics Sony is shooting for with the PS3. It’s showing potential, but it’s an effective “wow” factor.
Nintendo, on the other hand promotes their new console with the Wii experience, where they pick random people from streets all over the world who’ve never played Wii before, put them in a room with the remote controller, and let them figure it out on their own! The website was just updated with more first timer movies, the results are quite charming, and really show how much fun these people are having right away. Check out the collage of movies below…
