Tony Hawk’s Downhill Jam Wii remote VS Project 8’s PS3 SixAxis, controller comparison

Tony Hawk’s Downhill Jam with the Wii remote controller Versus Tony Hawk’s Project 8 with the PlayStation 3 SixAxis controller. A comparison video shows how both Activision games control. To be honest, they look very laid back & fun to play. Both games are ready for the new console launches.

Ones a racing game..the others just a skating game. its tough to say which controller will be better until you actually play them both.
though i am pumped for project 8!

I’m really not into skate games but to tell you the truth, for me the PS3 controller looks more fun and moves more then the Wii does. I mean look at the Wii controller. Hands down the PS3 controller wins this match. It just does more movement.

Cool! I am a HUGE THPS fan.. Looking at Project 8 I am really PUMPED up for getting that game!!

the wii controller looks more solid the ps3 is too loose

The funny thing is that it looks like either of these games can be done on both systems.

the wii version looks more solid…
ps3 controller looks shaking

the wii version looks like heaps of fun. I can see adrenaline pumping as you burn down courses doing lines and tricks by moving the wiimote around. I’m a big fan of THPS, and the wii easily trumps ps3 in this situation. i mean bullet time tricks? lmao thats the most out-dated pathetic idea i’ve ever seen. while you doods spend your minutes in bullet time i will be burning down hills in a totally eclipsing gameplay experience.
seriously.

whats the name of that song playing during the comparison??

Sk8ters RuLe no mater what! But Sixaxis is showing the stuff we all CrAvE! More abilities to use it creatively work your board. And the graphics just kill Wii by comparison! Saving my bucks now, gotta get a Sony PS3 for this one! WooHoo Yeah Sk8te On!

I believe the Ps3 version looks much better and that the SIXAXIS was used in a much better way. It looked smooth and didnt seem to lag one bit. In fact the Wii version didnt show much use of the wiimote, i believe the Wiimote couldve been used in many more ways than just basic controlling. The Wii version has bad kiddy gfx just by opinion ;)
