Just CauseAvalanche Studio CEO Christofer Sundberg has made clear in an interview with Swedisch Magazine Kong that they are working on a second game of Just Cause. Despite the fact that Just Cause was only released a month ago.

You will still play as Undercover-Agent Rico Rodriquez, but you won’t be playing in San Espirito anymore. The new location or any other information about the game wasn’t revealed. Just Cause will be released on Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC. Via News4gamers

When developing Just cause, they should really consider adding on on-line capabilities. In GTA:IV, Rockstar has added a major MMO element where thousands of players are able to play online and free-roam in the city, customize their own charactors, purchase weapons (considering it is fairly easy to gain money in GTA games, rockstar has upped the prices for purchasing weapons when you play online) to kill other players, if you want to walk up to another online player in the city, a headset is required. Most people are pumped about creating gangs online and doing drive-by’s with other friends. Just cause tends to be alot like GTA. I like GTA and JC for their own specific reasons. I hope that avalanche studios and Eidos do a great job with JC2! but should also consider adding extras into the game that would give many players extensive replay value.

I finally got round to finishing Half-life 2 the other week (it bored me senseless… mutants, zombies, going from point A to point B… Zzzzzzzz). Then I bought Just Cause….. now that’s more like it!!! Not a stupid zombie/alien in sight!

Just cause is a great game with awesome graphics (try it with a GEFORCE 8800). Sure it had its faults but what game doesn’t. I eagerly await JC2!

JCause was a nice little game. To bad there wasn’t a map editor included: I was also disappointed to find no multi player gaming, and at only 3to4gig in size the graphics & physics suffered badly, there is plenty of room on the 9gig disc to include not only a map editor but a great multi player experience; and if this company wants to waste a beautiful opportunity for HD15gig or blu-ray 25gigdev then let them! The “next-gen” console era hasn’t started until companies develop games on HD Discs, imagine the difference in scale and function. Creativity dictates innovation; innovation needs scale!Think bigger, and let us create; or are you afraid of being out done?C Ya!
