Dynasty Warriors is a Koei series of action/strategy games with RPG-style elements (leveling up, etc.) where you fight hundreds of enemies at once.

The storyline and universe of the games is based on The Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

Check out some awesome martial arts action in this intro for Dynasty Warriors 5 (ignore the logo).
