Konami announces PSP collections for Salamander, Parodius and TwinBee
After Gradius Collection, Konami now plans to release other popular shooter franchises in collections on the PSP for Salamander, TwinBee and Parodius. The three collections are scheduled for release in Japan on January 2007 for 4179 Yen (around $35).
Salamander Collection includes: Salamander, Life Force, Salamander 2 and Xexex along with a secret game.
Parodius Collection includes: Parodius Da!, Gokujou Parodius, Sexy Parodius, Jikkyou Oshaberi Parodius and a secret game.
TwinBee Collection includes: TwinBee, Deta Na!! TwinBee, TwinBee Yahho, Pop’n TwinBee and a secret game.
While we hope these collections get released outside of Japan, 1UP assumes they will and hopes that like Gradius Collection, each of the compilations will come packed with different games from the relevant series, and that hopefully they’ll offer the music and video players as well.
