Hey guys this is pretty neat. was wondering if its gonna come out on NINTENDO DS? or is there a homebrew i can get of it?

agelow@hotmail.com

thanks!

When is the first amendment comming for gameboys?

this is probably the most stupid thing ever put on a gba cartridge

lol! As a real Christian I say this is a really stupid thing to have. Televangelists probably came up with this to make more money since everything to them is about money.

Anybody who wastes money on this is an idiot.

what the hell, there is no need for the bible to be on the gba or any other console. do they think that when people are out and about they need to look something up in the bible? something so important that it cant wait till they get home? i think not. this is just the church trying to appeal to young people through a game, if young people arn’t comming to to church hear some guy talk about how ‘great’ God is, why the hell would they waste there money to read it?

Now it’s not only the greatest book in the world, but also the greatest GBA rom in the world. I’ve got it and can honestly say it’s great. The Bible has really changed the way I see things… hope it does the same for you. And YES, there is definitely a need for the bible to be available EVERYWHERE!!!

Oh dear.

What about the Koran, Torah, Tao Te Ching etc?

I’m upset they didnt do The God Delusion. Now THAT is a book I would buy on GBA cart.

I agree that this is a church campaign because religion is losing out in the world and the religious know it.

I suggest people boycott this ‘game’.

Also, 3+?! What?! I hope they dont include the verses that preach the killing of homosexuals and people who work on the sabbath.

The Bible? Ha! There has never been a more violent game!

Mike, I really could not agree more.

The Christian church has the highest body count of any organisation in the history of the world, and THIS is the book that guided them.

I feel bad for anyone subjected to this.

We need less Bibles and more Spinoza in the world.

I wonder how easy it is to actually get this game. I couldn’t find it on Amazon, but it’s on the 505 Game Street official site, except you can’t buy it there . . .

Anyway, as a Christian myself I believe it’d be highly beneficial to have the Bible available on all consoles & handhelds. Why not?

There are many people, particularly young people of this MTV generation, that will never pick up and read (key word is “read”) an actual Bible, but if it was in video game form they might think twice about it, especially if it was cheap or a friend gave it to them.

Personally I’d add tons of features, including a voice that reads it aloud and background music, I’d also add “gameplay” sections. As well as multiple versions, not just one version.

And Hibachi, why not have the Koran and other Holy Books available? I see no problem with that (I’m reading an actual book I got from the library right now on the differences between the Koran & Bible).

Actually, I think putting books on game carts, particularly on a handheld like the DS, is a great idea.

As long as they are cheap and offer special features you couldn’t get with the actual book, like a DVD.
