The description for this GameBoy Advance title reads: “Welcome to The Holy Bible: World English Bible. Now you can bring a small compact copy of The Holy Bible with you where ever you go. Complete with the ability to keep bookmarks and perform word searches. Reading the Bible was never easier.” Released set for November.

505gamestreet says it includes these features:
* Portable version of the “World English Bible 2006″ to take with you wherever you go.
* Quick and easy navigation tools.
* Bookmark Function.
* Reference Feature to allow you to search the text for specific words.

I doubt any critic will dare to give this game a bad review

Actually, that’s not a bad idea. It’s not a “game” so much as it is a huge book stored on a GBA cart.

Granted, I already own several bibles, and really don’t see the point of reading the good book via a tiny GBA screen.

Jim, Stupid is as stupid types.

This would actually be a cart I will buy. It’s nice that they included navigation features, bookmark functions, and the ability to look up a specific word.

I do hope the ESRB rates it M.

There is no game with more violence, sex and special effects thanthe good old book. Anyone know if it will be ported to PSP? or do i have to hackit myself?

I think they should have made it for the DS. Then you could actually read it like a book. Second screen would be for highlighting verses for quick reference, etc.
