Bungie video of the evolution of Halo

HaloIt’s amazing to see how much any game can change in a timespan of three years. This video of the evolution of Halo was made for an E3 Fanfest in April 2004 by four Bungie employees (Marty O’donnell, Shikai Wang, Rob Mclees, and Paul Russell) that takes a look at some of the early builds of Halo complete with witty commentary.

Halo is shown in early development, from when it was still being developed as a Myth-like RTS, to an over-the-shoulder 3rd person shooter complete with the Master Chief riding a lizard, up until the build from the first Halo trailer at E3 2000…

Halo is only two games old and aready a EVOLUTION of HALO feature? I mean, Its Meaningful to have “Evolution of GTA” as it has been around for so many years and has changed very much.

 had a nic laugh.. great vid :P kinda contradicts my earlier post.. but well.. I didnt actually get waht it was about.. so Its ONLY HALOl. not how it came from HALo to HALO 2… Nice!

Sad thing is that Google Vids dont have caching…I had to Load everything again to see the last part(becasue my net wet off in between :()

HALO is more than two games old. You’re forgetting the fact that HALO was orginally a direct follow up to and is set in the same universe as Marathon.

Actually… nevermind, I don’t know where I got that idea from.

why would you not want to make real time stragy game out of this series? Halo Wars will rock. I don’t even like rts games, but if you are a fan of the series. you might just have to pick this one up. I you have time off from playing halo 3, that is.
