Search and Destroy – Stooges (artist not confirmed, but it damn well better be the stooges!)

this is more likely Seek and Destroy by Metallica.

Bad Reputation – (too hard to say, my guess is Thin Lizzy, but could be Joan Jett)

this is Bad Reputation by Damn Yankees (fronted by Ted Nugent)

I’d bet it is “Search and Destroy” as covered by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, seeing as a cover of their version of Higher Ground was in the original Guitar Hero game.

Awesome to see a RATM song make the cut…just curious to see (and hear) how the final minute of the song plays out…I can just hear my 2 year old nephew running around the house “F**K YOU I WON’T DO WHAT YOU TELL ME!!”

ha, I wrote this.

rhino4evr, should you be proven to be a dirty liar, you shall be smote by an angry British demigod in the upcoming weeks.

Thanks for the info, though. :)

Patrick, so far as I know, the radio/edited versions of Killing in the Name Of basically cut out the song from there onwards. It ends right before that starts.

I may be wrong on this, but it wouldn’t surprise me to learn that’s what happened. I think I’d rather altered lyrics (as occured with a few songs in the original), but…

It’s actually “Search and Destroy.” They showed the set list menu and it was, indeed, “Search and Destroy.”

Go get the demo now!!! It is awsome!

It had DAMN WELL BETTER be the Stooges version.

Joan Jett >> Damn Yankees

Why is Mother in Opening Licks? That solo is hard…I mean, the rest of the song is easy as hell, but still…it should be in the second set.

Speaking of Mother, has anyone else noticed that Harmonix seems to love songs that were in GTA:San Andreas? Unsung, Them Bones, Mother…

I will kick all your asses at this game because i am the big gay video gamer of all time. i like to play in the nude call me ;)
