Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception looks impressive on PSP
Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception looks deceptively nice, so don’t take my word for it, watch the trailer below. Fans of the Ace Combat series have been waiting for a portable iteration in the long-running franchise. The wait will end this fall, when Namco Bandai ships Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception, for the Sony PSP. The flight simulator promises to deliver a no-compromise Ace Combat experience, everything from the console versions will make it intact.
I think it rocks the game has a multiplayer mode for up to four players. In addition to a last-man standing dog fight mode, you’ll be able to split into teams for cooperative combat! Take a look and judge for yourself how the latest new game in the series will convert from PS2 to PSP come October 17.

Free missions:
In Free Mission mode you can play out missions you completed in Campaign Mode anytime you’d like to aim for a faster time or a higher score. Challenge yourself as many times as you want! And, the points you earn on a free mission can be used in Campaign Mode, making it great for players who are looking to save up quickly to buy a plane. You can also change details of the conditions of the mission, such as “Strengthen enemy weapons” or “Have enemy’s reserves appear”. Also, you can play out your first mission even if you haven’t yet completed it in Campaign Mode, which is recommended for players who want to experience the action of the game right away. This might also be helpful in introducing your friends to the ACE world to give you an even larger group of people to play with!
Color variation:
All the games in the ACE series are known for allowing you to adjust the color of your fighter plane – the king of the ACE sky. ACE-X as well gives players four types of color options on all planes. Choose anything from a camouflage design to eye-catching, brilliant colors. There’s even a color that may look familiar to you. Paint your favorite plane your favorite color, and then it’s off to battle!
