The Elder Scrolls Travels: Oblivion comes to PSP in spring 2007 and Elder Scrolls IV confirmed as PS3 launch title

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion was first released on PC and Xbox 360 back in March 2006. After unofficial Oblivion rumors last week, now developer Bethesda revealed Oblivion will be coming out as a PS3 launch title on November 17th 2006 in the U.S. and in March 2007 in Europe.

Now the developer is adapting the game for portable play in the form of The Elder Scrolls Travels: Oblivion for the PSP, due for release in spring 2007 in both the U.S. and Europe.

No word yet on how different the new versions will be from the original. The plot will likely remain the same, so you’ll jump in the game after the mysterious and untimely death of the Emperor, the throne of Tamriel lies empty. With the Empire ready to crumble, the gates of Oblivion open and demons march upon the land laying waste to everything in their path. To turn the tide of darkness, you must find the lost heir to the throne & unravel the evil plot that threatens to destroy all of Tamriel.

I have the PC version and runs good at high settings… Maybe I should wait till the PS3 version comes out

I can not wait till the PSP version come out! I hope it still has the same good graphics and character customization. And it would be good if they could delete some of the bad stuff in the orignals

i love all of the elder scrolls games i have completed morrowind and oblivion, but i am still gettin it because i want to see if it has much change to it, i hope it still has a decent character customization, but a longer main storyline. P.S i also heard it is more like knights of the nine, is this true?

i heard that there will be an online multiplayer mode and it will be the first huge mmorpg for the psp and thats why its coming out so late so the psp can update its flash and whatnot

I personaly have never actually played an Elder Scrolls game but I have wanted to play oblivion since the 360 version has come out and cannot wait to buy it for the psp when it eventually comes out.

For some reason I don’t think it really is gonna come out on psp because how are they gonna put a game of that size and grapics quality on a machine that can’t even play the grand theft auto vice city stories with the same graphics quality as a ps2, let alone play a game that is run on something as powerful as a computer
