Japan goes Pokemon Diamond and Pearl crazy!
Pokemon Diamond and Pearl have just been released in Japan today. New information says there are a total of 114 new Pokemon in the two new games, taking the series up to a total of 500 Pokemon! So prepare to fill up those 18 boxes holding 30 Pokemon each, early in 2007 for us English speaking folks. If you want to spoil the game, see all new Pokemon evolutions here.
As you can see from the above waiting line with over a thousand people in it, Japanese young and old are excited. Nintendo put on quite a Pokeshow. The first (unconfirmed) reports suggest Nintendo sold out of TWO MILLION Pokemon Diamond/Pearl copies available at launch, as well as selling out of the extra half a million DS Lites they manufactured especially for the Pokemon launch day.
Exciting of course is the possibility of online co-op treasure hunting, trading (Pika!) you can see here, and watch a WiFi online battle demonstration below:

where can you see the evolutions of the new starter pokemon?

amanda, all you had to do was go to the big search bars at the top and bottom of the site and type in: pokemon evolutions.
The first page that shows up is all 107 new Pokemon evolutions.
The same goes for all those people looking for the date, just type in pokemon release date in search and you would find out it comes out in America & Canada on April 22.

OK hers the catch it comes out april 22 2007 pearl is the best the best pokemon team for it is the starter grass that turns grass ground chatot a flying buu burn a fire rentoraa an electric gayrdose water and a poisin fighting frog type thing and for all pokemon on the new game were to get them and all other info vist seribii.net

iv beaten the game with every pokemon and theres only 493, Shaymin and darkrai were 2 event pokemon, arceus was the super god pokemon and Giritina, regigas and heatran were 3 mystery pokes only obtained after leage, the total then is 493, ill beat the japanese version and tell u all then
