Banjo-TooieThat’s right, at X06 this week Rare announced Banjo & Kazooie are making a welcome return on Microsoft’s Xbox 360. It’s not surprising considering how many fans (including myself) there were of the Nintendo 64 games Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie. I like how the pair of platform adventurers are drawn in their latest outing. Here’s the first teaser footage of a tentatively titled Banjo Threeie.

Clearly there’s plenty of fans who are frustrated by the fact Rare have changed consoles for where they will release Banjo threeie(the working title).
I was at first, but as a massive B K fan i bought the X B 360 so i can play this game.
As someone said above we have to live with it that the console’s have changed – harsh! but i agree with him/her.
What frustrates me above all is when the game is realeased. I heard it was going to be released in late 2007, then 2008 and 2009! i mean bloody hell when is it coming out ?
I believe this game is world class. I believe it will be a global hit, be it on nintendo or microsoft or even sony for that matter. It has argueably been compared and accused of being too similar to Mario B*@%”+=t!
B K series has its own ingenious of expressing its self rathher than needing to mimic other games qualities.
If people love Banjo and Kazooie that much i’m sure plenty will buy the 360 – i certainly did.

When is the game released mahn! ?
it’s been a decade nearly since Banjo Kazooie was realeased. I like Rare but the least they can do is estimate when Banjo threeie or whatever the name will be actually comes out!

I have been searching all websites i.e
Game, Rare, Gamesation wikipedia google etc
I have read a few magazines even tried the newspaper
But the nearest to finding out when the game is released was wikipedia saying the final quarter of 2008.
:S that was a lot of help.
    But how genuine was wikipedia?

Rare has made alot of very good N64 games in the past.. But to hear that they sold themselves out to a big company like microsoft is rather dissapointing… Banjo-Kazooie/Tooie was definatly my favourite when it was released on N64. But seeing as it is now being released on the 360 it then ruins the chain of the game in my opinion.. But times change like people have said and thats when companies start getting clever, like microsoft which is currently a MASSIVE company :P I own a Wii myself and its dissapointing to hear its 360 only atm. I might get a 360 soon seeing as there is alot of nice games out on that system also.

    * If i have said anything to upset anyone, i apologise! My comment is not meant to come out the wrong way :-) *

Anyone who says Banjo Threeie should be released on Wii would have failed Business Dynamics Class under the condition that someone would be dumb enough to think a company under control of a Grand Enterprise would actually help out a competitor. Microsoft owns Rare therefore they own the rights to Banjo. Get over it fanboys.
