Devil May Cry 4 first PS3 screenshots and details

Dante isn’t the main character in Devil May Cry 4. Taking over is Nero (who is not Dante’s brother Vergil).

Capcom told Famitsu magazine that Nero will have many new combat skills that are different from Dante’s. Instead of a devil trigger, he has a devil bringer skill in his arm. The series director, Hideaki Itsuno, said that one thing he felt was that as great as Devil May Cry 3’s combat-chaining system was, the combo’s ended when the enemies died, so the arm can act as a grapple to continually rearrange enemies (see picture above) so that you can continually build up your combo’s.

Storyline: Nero is the leader of a group that wants to resseruct Sparda. However, Dante (in this game seen as an enemy) intrudes upon your base and starts killing your generals. As the main character you have to stop him, but Nero does not recognize Dante.

ooh, I knew Nero was the lead but the story, I know now They look so alike, so maybe at one part dante will be like “I am ur Father” lol. I one the games that I am looking forward to on the PS3

Dante Looks so OLD and completely different(YUck!)… Every great hero coming to PS3 is getting OLD

Its been confirmed that there is going to be any story for why he looks like Dante and Vergil. He wanted a character that would look familiar to players.

hey i aint sure bout everyone else but id much rather play as dante’s devil than nero’s arm lol but least the graphics should be top noch i love the series and hope theres no dissapointment

Nero seems like a pretty dope character to me. I really want vergil to show up in this game, but not as nero secretly.nor do i want nero to be dantes son. plus this game takes place in between devil may cry 1 and 2. and we see no reference to dante having a son in number two so. we have a new character at hand.

LOL!!Nero looks ok and Hey!! Stop Commenting on MY looks.Either way when u grow old it’ll be the samebut at least i have hair…HAHAHALOL…I do agree that Vergil rocks but that doesnt mean that without him your useless.
