OMG THIS IS BULLCRAP!!!! the point of the wii version is so that it is a FIRST PERSON SHOOTER, not 3rd, and it only includes the series RE0 RE1 RE2 RE3 and you can’t play as leon or clair, there are 8 playable characters, Rebecca Chambers, Billy Coen, Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, Carlos Oliveira, Albert Wesker, Ada Wong and HUNK. it dont have re 4’s village only a new umbrella HQ, the new game is nothing like what you have described it to be, its explaining the downfall of umbrella , jeez, you really need to sort this out, your false advertising, loving the RE series though….

God sakes. Every company keeps developing for the Wiik. wtf? so what. it has a controller. big whoop. you can do ALOT more with an eyetoy and thats on the good console. When nintendo gets outta the 90’s and into the current year i’ll buy one of there consoles but not until, even though i love RE.

Hi, well I have all games of Resident Evil and I already play them all and finished them, I like them and I’m thinking if Umbrella Chronicles is going to be for Multiplayer It will be good, becasue this games is going to be the first of Resident Evil Multiplayer games, (well Outbrake is muti too, but it suked)

I saw Billy Coen in the YouTube videos as well, and although Billy Coen may not been programmed to be smart enough to mix herbs, lol, he could take a beating way better than Chris and Leon put together, I guess his military training conditioned him to be tough, let along in some versions of Resident Evil 2, Billy Coen was the Mercenary, in the ‘Mercenaries Note’, noted in RE2 N64 version (check the hotdog cart in the reverse game before you enter the back-side of the RPD department)

This Letter may conclude that Billy Coen may possibly be the former identity of Nemesis.

This game better not be a FPS, and I can only hope that eventhough it may have 3rd person play, that possibly a free-camera feature may be included, so e can finally get rid of the infamous “bad-angles”.

Multi-Player feature including but not limited to: Online, LAN, system-game-link, etc… Would prove successful.

Please your patrons CAPCOM… We are the ones paying you!

Wow, I hope this game will have multi-player, link, LAN or Online play as well.

Resident Evil is awesome… But even better when you can have friends join in on the fun, split up, or go in as a squad, heck, even “TK”… Multi-player RULES.

WTF! This decision is made all the more puzzling since an RE4 port has been announced for the Wii. With all the infrastructure there, why would capcom choose the dark horse of the franchise as the basis for UC. I’ll buy the same game again if you can make it cooler like the REmake or a Wii version of 4. But I can’t understand how subpar gameplay gets better with a Wiimote in place of a light gun!

The newly updated RE:UC news was released today, and as the comment above me says, it will be a first person shooter game.

SHAME on Capcom for their more than foolish development. I had such high expectations for this game, and now, all my hopes shot down the toilet. What they are/were thinking is beyond my knowledge, because I’m certain this, if true, will be hated with a passion by thousands, if not millions of RE fans.

Capcom, you have greatly damaged your reputations. Did you not learn anything from the strongly disliked and poorly scored Dead Aim? Why would you not continue the famous gameplay of RE:4?

Huge let down, Capcom…huge…

An article on 1up.com states, “Once thought to be an extension of the Resident Evil 4 engine, Famitsu indicates we’re getting something more in line with the Resident Evil: Dead Aim spin-off series, where the action takes place on rails and from a first-person perspective.”

Is this really true? Am I the only who thinks this would make for a horrible Resident Evil addition?

oh my god. I will finally get to pull off some action moves against hunters and lickers, like leon kicking the novistodors in re4, only now it will be with all the characters, especially chris. this is so freaking awesome. finally a remake that’s actually different, instead of making the same freaking game with better graphics like the ones for gamecube. not that i diddn’t love those games to death, it’s just about time that the stars are able to pull off moves you know that they know how to do. no more knife being the only melle combat. awwwwwsoooooome!!!!

Another of my input is that 1st off Wii owns 2nd is that you shouldnt bash it cuz its going to be the same as the RE4 for ps2 its just theres stuff featured from all the series + frankly i wanna snipe some1 with Albert wesker ^.^

Man now I have to buy a WII lol I love Resident Evil!… I saw a trailer thing for this game… It said something about 10 years ago…. It began…..) Does that mean this game will be 10 years later after the first game???… or is this just a remake for WII?… Anyways it will be fun I bet!
