Square-Enix confirms Heroes of Mana for Nintendo DS
The upcoming Nintendo DS RPG game Children of Mana will arrive in the US on October 30th. Seiken Densetsu DS (Children of Mana) sold 103,000 copies on its first 3 days on sale (between March 2 and March 5) in Japan, so it’s no surprise Famitsu today confirmed Square-Enix is working on “Heroes of Mana” as an upcoming DS game!
The report confirms that Heroes of Mana provides RTS and RPG elements, with character designs by Ryoma Ito (of Final Fantasy: Tactics Advance) and Akira Oguo (Final Fantasy X).
The main scenario/plot will be devised by Mastato Kato (Chrono Trigger, Legend of Mana), music composed by Yoko Shimumura (Mana, Parasite Eve). The title is to be produced by Koichi Ishii. Via Cubed3
