GameCube Tech Demos – Rebirth & Zelda

Nintendo made a lot of noise at their SpaceWorld show in 2000, a year before the release of their last console, the Nintendo GameCube (code-named Dolphin). While tech demos like Luigi’s Mansion and The Legend of Zelda (which had a “realistic” looking Link battling an equally realistic looking Ganon) awed crowds, another little-known demo was called Rebirth. Featuring what was then amazing visuals and great orchestrated music, the demo blew away audiences even though it showed no real gameplay. Rebirth was meant to show the power of the GameCube. Below view both the Rebirth & Zelda videos.
