Game Intros – Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon for CD-I
The Zelda punishment continues with a look at the second Zelda game that was released for the Philips CD-I.
Like the first one, this game was NOT developed by Nintendo (which is obvious once you take a look at it) but was released for the CD-I game system thanks to a deal between Philips and Nintendo that saw them release three games using the Zelda license. Those games were Link: Faces of Evil, Zelda: Wand of Gamelon and Zelda’s Adventure.
Today you can watch the intro for Zelda: Wand of Gamelon as well as view footage of the horrible gameplay. It’s funny how similar Zelda is to Link in this game . . . . She even carries a shield!
