Microsoft just posted a Backwards Compatibility update, with 39 new games and 9 updated games–the largest number of new games updated since the original list of over 200.
It’s interesting to note that this is the first time the list includes games that are not on the market yet for Xbox, with Spy Hunter: Nowhere to Run, The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning, and Lego Star Wars II. And of these, Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy also has an Xbox 360 SKU – another first for the BC list.
The list includes Burnout 3: Takedown, Counter Strike, Dead to Rights, ESPN Major League Baseball, Tom Clancy´s Ghost Recon – Island Thunder, Lego Star Wars II, Mortal Kombat: Deception, Namco Museum, Sid Meier’s Pirates, Over the Hedge, Rogue Trooper, Serious Sam, and Spy Hunter: Nowhere to Run. It also includes updates to Half Life 2, The Incredibles: Rise of the Underminer, and several more.
You can play cross-platform between Xbox 360 and the original Xbox over Xbox Live. And with anti-aliasing, these original Xbox games will look better than ever on Xbox 360 running in 720p and 1080i.
Yea i do agree with Snipaz there. You need to deal with it. Its not like were not buying 360 games. We just want to relive a few classics from the previous console. Even if you just update this one game. Im sure you would make many gamers very thankful. Is it too much to ask?
I should say Microsoft need to deal with it. My bad.
Snipz is right. I was about to buy warriors for xbox the other day thinking “surely this is BC” but no. And upon checking the list and finding out it wasnt compatible my exact thoughts were “what the actual f*ck?”
so yea… microsoft make warriors backward compatible. and the second prince of persia game. Also dont make the new prince of persia some sh*ty shaded cell game with a lame sidekick. Two thrones and warrior within were amazing. Just do the same but next gen and it will be awesome.
Yea make a back to the future game too
To continue a rant.
Game designers should listen to their demographic more. It would save us from problems like this and also really bollox parts of games
EG. The levels with the baby screaming and walking on blood in max payne. All those weird Cabela Hunt games or whatever theyre called where you just kill animals. I’d say its about as cool as making a game out of dunblane or colombine. How were so many sequels made? I’m guessing the NRA bought thousands of copies so a colombine or dunblane game might sell too
