Family Guy video game gets voices from TV show (sexy party video included)

Family Guy, Vol. 1 (Seasons 1 & 2)2K Games has realized the extreme popularity of the American animated TV show Family Guy, who’s death (cancellation) and resurrection caught the eyes of the entire industry (it’s the only TV show to ever be cancelled by a network and then brought back to life due to fan-requests and high DVD sales) , and has commited themselves to making quality (or in this case, “freakin’ sweet”) games based on the popular show and it’s likeable cast of characters.

A game based on the show is in the works, and 2K Games has just announced that, thankfully, the entire main voice cast will reprise their roles for the dysfunctional family in the video game adaption.

That includes series creator Seth MacFarlane, who will provide the voices for the portly father figure, Peter Griffin, his obssessed-with-mother-killing baby genius (and megalomaniac) son Stewie, and the smooth-talking family dog Brian. Which takes care of the three playable characters in the game.

Stewie! The rest of the supporting cast will reprise their roles as well, and they include Adam West, who will portray himself as the insane mayor of Quahog, Seth Green, who plays slow-brained Chris Griffin, Mila Kunis as typical-teenage-type Meg Griffin, and Alex Borstein will once again provide the voice for Lois Griffin, the family’s only voice of reason.

Family Guy is expected to ship later this year for current-generation consoles, PC and PSP. It is currently under development at High Voltage Games. a company that is no stranger to crude and tasteless humor. High Voltage developed Vivendi’s most recent Leisure Suit Larry effort, the collegiate adventure Magna Cum Laude.

And now Stewie Griffin demands a SEXY PARTY!
