While most preferred the Advance Wars turn-based strategy series on the GameBoy Advance and DS to the real-time strategy GameCube Battalion Wars spin-off, which sold rather poorly. Nintendo and Kuju still announced a sequel on the Wii titled Battalion Wars 2. When we covered the announcement at the Leipzig Games Conference this week there was footage for the other newly announced Wii game Mario Strikers Charged shown, but no video from the showfloor available at the time for BWii until now…
