The Nintendo DS Lite will be released in two brand new colors for both America & Europe this September and October (respectfully).
American gamers have been extremely dismayed (despite great sales) at the fact that they were gypped in recieving the very sweet looking black colored (or Onyx) DS Lite. Especially when it was revealed that not only Japan, but Europe too would be getting the color. Well American DS Lite hopefulls, who have yet to take the plunge into re-designed territory, can now breathe a sigh of relief, because they are indeed getting the black color.
Two new colors, Onyx (that’s black) and a new Pink color (called Coral) will be released in America, to join the already released white color (called Polar), on September 13th, and it will run gamers $130 dollars.
Europe too will be getting the new Pink DS Lite color. Called Noble Pink on those shores, it will be available in stores across Europe on October 27th. And will run European gamers €150 Euros.

It’s about time Nintendo! I’m very happy about the news. I will definately be picking up a shiny smudgable black DS to replace my DS Phat.
