Super Smash Bros Brawl creators hint at Sonic as the next Wii fighter

Update: It’s now official, Sonic the Hedgehog IS in Super Smash Bros Brawl.

According to Smash Bros. series director Masahiro Sakurai, Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima had personally asked to have Snake included in the previous game, Super Smash Bros. Melee on GameCube, but the project was already too close to completion when the request was made. Nintendo hopes that Snake’s appearance in Super Smash Bros. Brawl on Wii will encourage other publishers to allow their characters to join the Smash Bros. line-up, and is already actively negotiating for the rights to include at least one or two other non-Nintendo character. Both Masahiro Sakurai and Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto have stated that Sega’s Sonic the Hedgehog is the character that Smash Bros. fans have requested the most!

The game’s design team is made up of all-stars: Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu has composed the Super Smash Bros. Brawl main title theme, and Solid Snake creator Hideo Kojima will be designing a level in the game, most likely Metal Gear Solid. Very dissapointed with the brawl list. only 10 more character slots than before, nothing too exiting or special.

there is alot of things exciting lucario for instance,the subspace emissary videos and pics are cool, i didnt expect ridley to be a playable character he is much too big and just wouldnt fit into fast pace fighting the way smash bros is, thats why mewtwo is being replaced, too floaty, all ridley would be able to do is glide, no cool moveset

Why would they put Naruto in the American one if they DIDN’T put him in japan because Naruto is from JAPAN!!!

Hmm… you guys dont know yet? They already gave out the final roster… let me tell you who is in. And this ‘is’ real. You can look at youtube and in other webpages if you google SSBB Leak.

Mario, Donkey Kong, Link, Samus, Kirby, Fox, Pikachu, Marth, Mr. Game and Watch, Luigi, Diddy Kong, Zelda/Sheik, Pit, Meta Knight, Falco, Pokemon Trainer, Ike, Snake, Peach, Yoshi, Ganandorf, Ice Climbers, King DDD, Wolf(Star Fox series), Lucario(Mewtwo’s replacement), Ness, Sonic, Bowser, Wario, Toon Link (Wind Waker), Robot(I have no idea where he came from), Captain Olimar, Captain Falcon,
Jigglypuff, and Ness….

I’m pretty dissapointed with Sakurai… I at least expected Megaman… Dont know… but Maybe the American version will have him since they we are getting it on March 9. But dont get your hopes up. They are probably just translating everything to English. In other words Dubbing… I dont know who said Naruto was going to be in for Brawl… but let me have a laugh… Sakurai especifically said that he wasnt putting any character who were involved in a huge Manga project… and looking at Naruto’s history… I though his chances were at… .-9999999 percent…hahahaha.
