Super Smash Bros Brawl creators hint at Sonic as the next Wii fighter

Update: It’s now official, Sonic the Hedgehog IS in Super Smash Bros Brawl.

According to Smash Bros. series director Masahiro Sakurai, Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima had personally asked to have Snake included in the previous game, Super Smash Bros. Melee on GameCube, but the project was already too close to completion when the request was made. Nintendo hopes that Snake’s appearance in Super Smash Bros. Brawl on Wii will encourage other publishers to allow their characters to join the Smash Bros. line-up, and is already actively negotiating for the rights to include at least one or two other non-Nintendo character. Both Masahiro Sakurai and Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto have stated that Sega’s Sonic the Hedgehog is the character that Smash Bros. fans have requested the most!

The game’s design team is made up of all-stars: Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu has composed the Super Smash Bros. Brawl main title theme, and Solid Snake creator Hideo Kojima will be designing a level in the game, most likely Metal Gear Solid. i personally think Sora should bee in supersmash bros brawl because if you look at it in a way he is exactly like link both are heros that save the world and yet young. Mega-man would work fine as well and maybe windwaker link but i understand supersmash bros brawl is of characters that have a new look. Xemnas was my other thought… the one from kingdomhearts 1 final mix which uses a sabers to fight and a world could be added as well. From destiny island where riku always looks at the sun to the secret ending of kh2 which is a desert battle ground area with mountains. I do believe starfox has alot of characters as well but to replace falco is good too. And bomber-Man can work good in the game as well.
