Nintendo On – Fan-Made Revolution Video

Super Mario 64Check out this extremely well-done, very professional looking fan-made video of what the author calls “Nintendo On” (which I do believe was a code name, or a name Nintendo registered, that was in speculation as the real-name for the Nintendo Wii, or the Revolution, which was the Wii’s code name), which turns out to be a helmet that plays (and makes) video games by displaying them directly onto your eyes for a true “virtual reality” experience. Obviously this was made before the full unveiling of the Wii.

I love the beginning of the video though, it’s very professionally done and the whole Super Mario 64, Peach’s Castle section is amazingly cool. I almost wish Nintendo would’ve done something like this themselves. The ironic part is how this video seems to totally concentrate on what would be the graphical prowess of the Wii, when the reality is that some of the Wii games shown were as simple as Nintendo Sports Tennis, very much the opposite of focusing on graphics.

Enjoy the video and remember, “NOT A REAL PRODUCT!
