PS2 recieves five more “Greatest Hits” titles
169 games and counting! The list of best-selling Playstation 2 games, or “Greatest Hits” as the line of games is known in the US (Platinum Hits elsewhere), keeps growing and growing. You’d think that the rate of half-a-million-selling games would’ve reached it’s peak a while ago, yet at this rate, Sony still has a few more games that will undoubtebly be added to the list further down the line (including mega-hits like Final Fantasy XII and God of War 2).
Today five more games were added to the PS2 Greatest Hits collection, they include:
Shadow of the Colossus, the adventure game from the developers of Ico; Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves, the latest in the franchise about the raccoon burglar; SOCOM 3: US Navy SEALs, a third-person online shooter; Jak X: Combat Racing, a car combat game featuring Jak and Daxter; and Ratchet: Deadlocked, Insomniac Games’ platformer.
