Sony confirms PS3 Memory Card Adapter for PS2 & PSone save game transfer

Question: How do I save my PS2 Memory Card info to PS3?

Sony’s FAQ Answer: To use saved data on a PlayStation 2 memory card, you must copy the data onto a virtual memory card within the (PS3) hard disk.

This requires a PS2/PSone memory card adaptor to copy the data to your PlayStation 3. A (Sony) memory card adaptor is designed to edit, upload or download game saves to and from a EMS flash card or a smart media card.

Update: Some people have been asking where to get the PS3 Memory Card Adaptor, since a lot of retail stores don’t have them in stock. You can buy the PS3 Memory Card Adaptor online here at Amazon.

could someone tell me where the F*CK I can get a freaking memory card adapter? I tried the place I bought my ps3 from yesterday, but they said is hasn’t even been released yet!!!
I spent 1000$ in a freaking machine and now I can’t even play what I want!! WHAT THE F*CK!

well imy ponit is that probably a lot of people have a ps2 and a psp and it would be cool if u can just conect your psp transfer your saves from ps2 and the to ps3 from de psp any one know if it could be done :>> ???

Yeah, i have this thing ,but when i try to save the game it says there is no memory card to read. but yet it is installed. The game i’m trying to save is Gunship 2000 .So if anyone knows the reason this happens ,could please let me know if i’m s–t out of luck.

when I got a ps3 I put a ps2 game (madden 2004) in and started all over now I want to put my Ps2 on split screen (cuz ps3 wont let u for some reason) so i can watch tv at the same time so what im trying to ask is can I transfer data from my ps3 to my ps2?
