Question: How do I save my PS2 Memory Card info to PS3?
Sony’s FAQ Answer: To use saved data on a PlayStation 2 memory card, you must copy the data onto a virtual memory card within the (PS3) hard disk.
This requires a PS2/PSone memory card adaptor to copy the data to your PlayStation 3. A (Sony) memory card adaptor is designed to edit, upload or download game saves to and from a EMS flash card or a smart media card.
Update: Some people have been asking where to get the PS3 Memory Card Adaptor, since a lot of retail stores don’t have them in stock. You can buy the PS3 Memory Card Adaptor online here at Amazon.
So I bought this memory card adaptor, & I’m curious, dose it work for the ps3 40gb or do you have to have the 80gb ps3 for it to work?
I have Suikoden 3 and want to load my Suikoden 2 data but the internal ps2 mem won’t let me put the ps1 data on it.
i was wondering if i could like transfer ps3 data to the ps2 memory card?
This works for all of my PS1 games, but when I copy any PS2 data over to the PS3’s hard disk, the games never recognize it. I can see that the data is on the PS3’s hard disk, but it’s never recognized in-game. Any suggestions?
