The Golden Joystick Awards are the world’s oldest video game awards, originally debuting back in 1982 for Atari, Commodore and Spectrum games. Now the Golden Joystick Awards 2006 will feature 17 different award categories, and are the only awards voted for by gamers themselves.

Vote for your favorite games released between August 1 2005 & July 31 2006 and you could win VIP tickets to the Golden Joystick Awards on Friday, 27th October 2006. Thanks to a live web stream of the ceremony you’ll be able to take a look no matter if you win or not. Last year 200,000 people voted!
