Unreal Tournament 2007 delayed until 2007, coming to Xbox 360?

Midway has revealed that Unreal Tournament 2007 on PC will miss it’s expected late 2006 release date, and will not ship until the first half of 2007. This could mean the game is getting delayed for a full year. At least now we know why they titled it UT 2K7.

Gamespot reports that the release date for the confirmed PS3 version is officially set as To Be Confirmed. Previously it was said that UT 2007 would be a PS3 launch title.

When a Midway representative was asked if the mention of multiple next-gen editions meant UT 2007 might be coming to the Xbox 360, the rep demurred, saying, “Nothing is yet confirmed… but I would say that your assumption is relatively plausible.” At the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2006, Midway CEO David Zucker said the game was being released for “for PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3,”
