PSP firmware 2.80 update features

Sony PSP Value PackThe 2.80 PSP update was made available today. Updated features include:

Network:
* Support for video and image content downloading has been added under [RSS Channel].
* You can now register devices via a wireless LAN access point under LocationFree Player.
* Support for additional remote control data has been added under LocationFree Player.

Music:
* You can now play AAC files with the .3gp file extension.

Settings:
* [Automatic] has been added as an option under Network Settings > [Infrastructure Model].

Other:
* Support for the playback of content stored in Music, Picture and Video folders at the root level of Memory Stick Duo media has been added.
* A demo of World Tour Soccer 2 is included with the update.

Note: This latest PSP firmware update includes all features contained in previous versions, and will preserve any setting changes made to the PSP before the update.

    this might be the only time im gonna get on this webite but how do i get my psp to update if i dont have a wireless connection???

    Kevin, new games will have the latest updates on their UMD disc, so when you put a just released game in your PSP you’ll be asked to update to the latest firmware that way.
