Tripwire announced details for the free content of its Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45 game, which is set for release on Steam on July 27th.
New in the update are: a new map, smoke grenades, modified tank reloading, tweaked victory conditions and a number of other fixes including solutions for choppy voice-over-IP problems.
The new map is called Lyes Krovy, and takes place in a forest in northern Russia and is said to already be a firm favourite within the test team. You’re tasked with fighting for a German trench-and-bunker position in a close-quarters battle, with Soviets assaulting and Germans doing their best to hold them off.
