Microsoft announces Xbox Live Wednesdays for weekly Arcade game releases
Microsoft has announced Xbox Live Wednesdays, a soon-to-be weekly release of content to Xbox Live. Obviously these polished up classics are meant to fill up the summer drought.
Here’s the list of upcoming downloadable Xbox 360 games:
July 12th: Frogger
July 19th: Cloning Clyde
July 26th: Galaga
August 2nd: Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting
August 9th: Pac-Man
From the Microsoft press release: “Xbox Live Arcade’s Frogger has been enhanced for the Xbox 360, and features new, enhanced artwork that matches and complements the original style. In addition, according to Microsoft, the game’s audio, including sound effects and music, has been modernized to sound crisp and clear on today’s high performance sound systems.”
Microsoft has asked Gamasutra to remove this press release, which was erroneously sent to news outlets by them before actually intended.
