I always wondered what happened with the project. I did figure however that it was just some kind of demo or whatnot. Experiment. It's amazing that no one has covered this story and everyone still points to Mario 128 when it was never even a game (and there were only like two screenshots if I recall from the Mario 64 w/Luigi)!
