At all. You say in some lines that the game is the worst ever, in others you say it is worth playing, in others you say it's up to everyone ..... man, your opinion just oscilates between "this game sucks" and "Get it!"; if I was indecise before, now I'm totally confused wether I should give this game a try or not. I was finding recommendations of this game, and thanks to this indecise review, now my interest towards this game is ruined. If you're going to go out and find this game, I'd recommend finding the DX version. It's the reason why Samus' ship was yellow in super metroid... (the original metroid had no spaceship in it at all). Although I think Samus' original ship was red (as seen in the artwork of the old games and metroid zero mission).. Later it changed into orange, (metroid prime series) and even purple (metroid fusion) About the music. You forgot the music in the area with Omega metroids at the near end. It had some kind of knocking sound that gave me the chills. And when you enter the lair with original metroids, I just didn't want to play any further (I was 8 years old though when it came out and I was SCARED) And even though "low-tone" the sound of the metroid queen yelling in the background gave me the chills too... And the "music" in the third area (where the space jump is) is low-tone indeed, but somehow it creates a certain atmosphere. Somehow it reminds me of Norfair... I think a 5.5 for sound is far underrated, although the music in the first 2 areas isn't good (1: blub blub blub - 2: some kind of bug sound - 4: a drunk toad). I am also astonished you give an 8 for graphics for a game with no backgrounds (comepletely black) and all similar graphical places.
