Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children sells 2.4 million worldwide
Square Enix announced they have shipped 2.4 million copies of its DVD/UMD movie Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. I bet they are pretty happy they continued their animation studio after the less than stellar Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within success. Me? I personally liked both.
Here is the breakdown per territory
(with the release date behind it):
* Japan – 1 million units (September 2005)
* North America – 1.3 million units (April 25, 2006)
* Europe – 100,000 units (April 24, 2006)
