God of War director wants Trilogy, God of War 3 not yet planned, but expected for PS3 none the less

According to reports in Electronic Gaming Monthly nine months ago, the first God of War sequel would come to PS2 (announced for February 2007), while another sequel will come to PS3 at some point in the future.

God of War game director Cory Barlog will be telling C&VG in an exclusive interview later today, that a Trilogy would be the ideal way for Kratos’ story to fully unfold.

Barlog said, “I would love to see a trilogy happen. Dave Jaffe and I have a pretty similar view as to where the story of Kratos should go and it does play itself out in a trilogy.”

Barlog continued, “But there are no trilogy plans as of right now. We are telling the continuation of Kratos’ life as we left off from the first game. The story in God of War II will begin to show a larger view of Kratos’ role within the mythological world.” Fingers crossed for more then.

Yall serious? God Of War 3 would be PERFECT on the PS3. I dont know why yall still want a ps2 release *uck is wrong with yall? G.O.W. 2 is a perfect ending to any ps2 release, it’s perfect a great game to end the ps2′s legacy. (even tho I wanted it to be on the PS3) If yall dont have a PS3 by 08-09 then get a d*mn job…… easy

god of war 3 shud b on ps2.. mainly bcuz it startd on the ps2 and the story should end on the ps2 i own both god of war 1 and 2.. and id love for god of war 3 to b on ps2.. the graphic was amazin on the ps2.. but avin it on ps3 would ave even beta graphic.. i think it shud b on both.. aint lyk if u ave da ps2 version you cannot ply it on ur ps3 bcuz u can.. that shud b last game of ps2.. b4 it can rest

G.O.W on ps2 would be great bit ps3 would help alot better graphics and the stotyline to god of war 2 the end i hated howe it left off

i think if you are going to make a god of war 3 it shouldnt be just for the ps3. you should be smart about it and make it for 360 too. not all of us god of war fans have a ps3. think about it
