Gears of War 2 coming (if #1 is a hit)

Yeah I know, what a surprise right? After making all the Unreal sequels, Gears of War lead designer Cliffy Bleszinski, aka Cliffy B, recently said that as soon as Gears of War is finished, he’s starting on a sequel.

To quote him from a Yahoo! News chat on what he’ll be doing in the future, after Gears of War. “Gears of War 2, I’d imagine.” The game will be out this Christmas.

Seems like Epic is confident that Gears of War will be a big hit, the game has already been hyped up as one of the most anticipated games coming to the Xbox 360. Right after Halo 3, of course. Click on ‘play’ below to watch the trailer:

u really need more chapters or somin like that on gears of war 2 more lvls on campaign and more guns and more game modes for online like capture the flag,
deathmatch all we hav at the moment is assasination,execution and warzone plz i beg u get more online game modes and more guns and more chapters a bigger campaign please i beg u u hav done a great job on number 1 but if u put more guns and game modes on number 2 it will reach number 1 in the charts for game of the year 2007 by (MARTYNMR1 xbox 360 name on gamer card)for xbox live

Gears of war on PS3 I doubt will ever happen,you can bet now it has sold 3 million already M$ and epic have already made a deal to secure number 2.

great game i love online play but single player was to short i would love to see a 2 disc story one disc for being on cog and one for being on locust and they could both be difrent storys or not but plz make it longer.

last inquiry was good that would be cool. Like on Halo 2 when you played as both sides. However can anyone give up being Marcus or would you rather battle as a grub? This was a great game and i imagine the sequel will be out around Christmas or early 08. The awards it’s won shows that this will indeed be a trilogy.

definetly, one of the best online games ever. story mode kicked so much ass. the multiplayer is second best, next to halo 2. its gonna be stiff competition between halo3 and GoW2. f*ck, how am i ever going to decide what to play. omg, this sucks ballzzzzzzzz.
