Gears of War 2 coming (if #1 is a hit)

Yeah I know, what a surprise right? After making all the Unreal sequels, Gears of War lead designer Cliffy Bleszinski, aka Cliffy B, recently said that as soon as Gears of War is finished, he’s starting on a sequel.

To quote him from a Yahoo! News chat on what he’ll be doing in the future, after Gears of War. “Gears of War 2, I’d imagine.” The game will be out this Christmas.

Seems like Epic is confident that Gears of War will be a big hit, the game has already been hyped up as one of the most anticipated games coming to the Xbox 360. Right after Halo 3, of course. Click on ‘play’ below to watch the trailer:

ok the 4 on 4 is great why? beacuse 20 on 20.. your just shooting random ppl never really get to know people. but 4 on 4 you make friends you shoot with revenage get my drift? best game ever of all time. Cant wait to finish work and get on my xbox 360

Gears of war is awsome can’t wait till the 2nd. The 4 on 4 is cool but i think 6 on 6 would be better. Maybe also in gears of war 2 you can get rid of the host advantage. Also make the missions longer i beat the game on insane in 6 hours.

when will GOW 2 come out, is there a set date ?, awesome game !!!
did any of u guys experienced while playing d game an interruption with message saying “the disc is unreadable, please clean d disc”, I encountered this problem since game was brand new, I took d cd out and it was clean, only happens with this particular game, it happened especially when I paused d game and then started playing it again after a few minutes, with d rest of my collection of games, this does not happen.

i think Epic will pay attention closely how Bungie did Halo 3, and what improvements they gave on their franchise game. but i think Epic has their own way improving the sequel from their masterpiece, Gears of War, and make all this much anticipated GoW2 worthwhile! and i also think that Epic had listen to some of our given-suggestions for the sequel–for sure they’re not going to disappoint us…trust me! so, pleeeeaaaaassssseeeee, Epic, we can’t wait any longer for GoW2, and that would be sweeeeet!!!!!

i loved gears of war i sold it cause i beat it and got everything but now i kinda want to play it again and i cant wait for gow 2 i love this franchise

… What improvements? Beyond the fact that it looks better (and I’d still have to see this on HD to really get a grasp on that [everything I've seen looks practically the same as H2]) they haven’t really revealed any changes in gameplay other than introducing a couple new weapons that have been around in other games for generations.

read man GEARS OF WAR is bad if number 2 comes out soon yall need to put more locust and like put it where u can be locust or cog and bersekers bigger and badder so we pros can kill m like they where freakin ants we pros know how to do are job cogs so rule i mean like u get parts where u could go aginst one of those things on emaginary place and make like up to like act 8 or so that would be so awsome gears of war 2 will be the badest of all games in a good way anyone who thinks gow sucks go get a life cause it rules i am sogood and i bet other ppl like me could whoop ass on gears of war 2 HU-RA we are the elite yeah make it longer so it would take like a dang moth to beat that would be cool and u make a free roam where u can become berserkers any thing on gow 2 and run threw the blasted citys that would be so freakin cool for all ya gears of war fans rock on we all pros !!!!!!! wow that was long
